Snuff bottles has been used as symbols of status in ancient China for their functionality as precious miniature containers, as pieces of jewellery and collector's novelties. Showcasing this naturally tricolored Jade Snuff Bottle pendant (Hok Lok Siew Jade) intricately engraved with a back to back detail of the mythical Phoenix bird and Chinese Dragon. Pendant size is 3.8 cm x 1.35 cm x 6.5 cm and weighs 76 grams. Handcrafted Abacus beaded necklace has 6 mm size 2-toned Jade Abacus beads woven on double strand of green thread. An additional 9 pcs of  6 mm and 2 pcs of 7 mm round Jade beads were placed evenly throughout the length of the necklace. Whole necklace is 24 inches round with a 2.5 inch pendant and has a total weight of 112 grams. All Jade components are Fei Cui, Type A Natural Jadeite (untreated). 

The Dragon represents power & strength, a bearer of good luck and good fortune and talisman for protection. The Phoenix, on the other hand, represents immortality, ressurection and triumph over adversity due to its mythical ability to die in flames and rise from the ashes as a new younger bird.
